Who operates the service
نرخەکان is a free phone-price app for ages 13 and above, initially intended for Iraq. Karzan Ahmed Shawkat operates it under the KarzanTech brand, which is not a registered company. Contact dev@karzantech.com for privacy or support. This text covers the consumer app and related services.
Browsing without an account
Browsing prices does not require a customer account. Your optional display name, language, appearance, selected city, favorites, watched products and notification preference are stored on your device. Catalog data and synchronization times are cached for later use. This release does not automatically upload your local name or favorites.
You can change preferences, remove favorites and clear app data through device settings. Your operating system's backup and restore behavior may affect local data.
Loading prices and images
The app requests price data from the server; requests may include selected-city and product identifiers. You select a market city yourself: the app does not request GPS access. Exchange rates are fetched from sources by the server.
Connections expose your IP address to the recipient. Server logs may record request paths, queries, times, response status and technical browser/device information to operate, troubleshoot and protect the service. Images may come from our server or legacy external image hosts; image hosts also receive connection information.
Hosting and other services
The owner reports that Contabo hosts the owner-managed server in Europe and the support mailbox is on the same VPS. The exact hosting country has not yet been confirmed. The owner reports no app/server backups or snapshots outside this VPS; this does not guarantee that providers hold no copies.
The current mobile app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. This does not mean the server receives no technical data. Maps, calls, SMS, email and merchant websites you choose to open have their own privacy practices. Map links include store locations, not GPS readings collected from your device by نرخەکان.
Support messages
When you email us, we use the sender address, message and attachments to respond and review your request. Copying diagnostics is optional; the app does not automatically send those copied diagnostics to support. They may include city, API address and synchronization times. Include only necessary information.
Merchant and administrator accounts
A separate merchant/admin web service uses provisioned accounts. It may hold names, emails, password hashes, sessions, permissions, store information and administrative audit records. Published store phone numbers and addresses may be visible when store listings are enabled. These accounts differ from a guest app's optional local display name.
How long information is kept
No support-email retention period has been defined. Some web/syslog configurations use weekly rotation with four retained copies; this is not a promise that all copies disappear after 28 days. A fixed expiry for journal, account or audit records has not been verified.
App backups remain until manual cleanup; some deployment-backup cleanup is count-based, not age-based. Deleting active data does not immediately remove all retained copies. Requests are reviewed manually; no automatic deletion timeframe is promised.
Correction and deletion requests
Email dev@karzantech.com to request access, correction or deletion of information held by نرخەکان, explaining the relevant part of the service. Karzan Ahmed Shawkat receives and manually reviews requests; limited information may be requested to verify your connection to the data when needed. This is a manual process, not an automated deletion tool. Do not send passwords, private keys or unsolicited identity documents.
Security, age and updates
The production API uses HTTPS; merchant/admin access requires authentication and permissions. No security method is guaranteed. The app is not intended for under-13s, but we do not claim technical age verification or a parental-consent system. Send children's privacy concerns to support.
